Bruno Ganz is an actor born on 22nd of March 1941 in Zurich of Switzerland. In 1960 Ganz landed his first film role in The Gentleman in the Black Derby, although his film breakthrough came in a major part in the 1976 film Sommergäste, launching a widely recognized film career in both Europe and the U.S. His carrier is generally stage oriented as he has worked in many theatrical production rather than films. He has worked with director Theo Aggelopoulos twice, first in the Eternity and a Day in 1998 and then ten years later in The Dust of Time, as well as with Francis Ford Coppola among others. |
