Mircea Andreescu was born in 1939. He studied Acting at the Institute of Drama and Film - Bucharest. He is working at the present time at the “Sica Alexandrescu” Theatre in Brasov.
He worked with important Romanian film directors as Dan Pita and Mircea Daneliuc, and he was distributed in more than 100 theatre plays.
He played in films such as: Pas in doi/ Walking Together directed by Dan Pita, Vulcanul stins/ The Dead Volcano directed by George Cornea, A 11-a porunca/ The 11th Law directed by Mircea Daneliuc.
For the role of Emanoil Pi?coci in 12:08 East of Bucharest he received the following prizes:
Best Actor (for the three main characters) – Essone (France, 2006), Best Actor (for the three main characters) – Siena Film Festival, (Italy,2006). |
