Pavlos Tassios was a student in Stavrakos School of Cinema. He started his carrier as director in 1965 and until 1968 he had directed three more films. In 1980 his feature film Paragelia, wich was based on real events, wins the second prize in Thessaloniki International Film Festival among other. After that Tassios meets great recognition. His last film was Knock Out in 1986, when he decides to make a turn to his carrier towards television. Tassios was a director and scriptwriter of eleven films always centered in social issues, as well as assistant director in more than fifty films. He was President of the Greek Directors Guilt form 1995 to 1997. |
