Graduated as a high school teacher of Hungarian and Russian language and literature. After graduation she has been working as a freelance book editor and film critic. Since 1980 she wrote screenplays for several feature films. Since 1989 she has been making documentaries. From 1990 to 2002 she worked at Hunnia Film Studio. She made her first feature film in 1996. Her films have been present over 100 international film festivals in Europe, in North- and South America and in Asia. Since 2003 she has been teaching at the Hungarian Film Academy. In 1997 she has got Béla Balázs Award. |
