Born in Greece 1970 Constantine Markoulakis has become one of the most successful actors of his generation. Graduating with the highest honours from National Theatre’s school of Dramatic art, Constantine has extensive renown in theatre, movies and prime time T.V. Fame earned him the ability to take his chances in challenging productions of his own wishes, such as ‘Caligula’, “the collector’ and ‘stones in his pockets’, productions which were of artistic value but highly popular as well. He played the lead in National Theatres’ production of ‘Hamlet’, chosen by internationally renowned director Michael Cacoyannis. Immediately after that he starred in National Theatre’s production of ‘Hippolytus’ at the sell-out 14,000 seat Ancient theatre of Epidaurus. He was the lead in TV Feature ‘Yungermann’, which was the most expensive TV series on Greek TV and has appeared in many other multinational productions and is still considered one of the most well-known and talented actors in Greece. |
