Ante Tomic was born in Split, Croatia in 1970. He majored in philosophy and sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar. He works as a professional journalist in the Jutarnji list. For his journalistic work he received the Croatian Journalist Society Marija Juric Zagorka award for the best editorial. He starts publishing his novels in 1997 and many of them where adapted to screen. His novels and essays are among the best selling books in Croatia.
