Johnny Depp was born at Kentucky on the 9th June 1963 and he was raised in Florida. At the age of fifteen he dropped out school in hope of becoming a rock musician. His carrier started in Los Angeles after his former wife introduced him to the actor Nicolas Cage. In 1990 his collaboration with the director Tim Burton for the film Edward Scissorhand, that was the inception of a long and creative partnership. As his signature Depp plays characters with an eccentric, mysterious, controversial and sometimes dark personality. In 1993 he starred as leading actor in Emir Kusturica`s Arizona Dream, the film had won the Silver Bear in the Berlin Film Festival that year.
