Bio
Ahmed Imamović is a Bosnian director, screenwriter and producer. He graduated in film and tv directing from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.
During the war time, Ahmed Imamovic was a member of a group of Sarajevo authors SaGa, where he as a cinematographer and director took part in realization of thirty documentary and short feature movies. As a member of this group, he won a number of group awards from European Film Academy (FELIX) and British Academy of Film (BAFTA).
His graduating short movie 10 Minutes at Academy of Performing Arts Sarajevo, was awarded by European Film Academy (2002, Best Short Film Award).
His first feature Go West won in total 38 international prizes.
He is a member of European Film Academy since 2002.
