Natasa Matjasec was born in 1967 in Murska Sobota, Slovenia.
She has received a master's degree in acting at the Ljubljana Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television.
Since 1995 a free lance actress and performer, working with several professional theatres (Slovenian Youth Theatre, Slovenian national theatres SNG Drama in Ljubljana and Maribor), and independent companies (The Atol Project, E.P.I. Centre).
Played in several short films and video productions and directed a fiction-documentary film Tiigra (2001), which she also produced together with Studio Arkadena.
