Emir Nemanja Kusturica  is a Yugoslav filmmaker, actor and musician, recognized for several internationally acclaimed feature films. He is gratuated from FAMU and he is a two-time winner of the Palme d'Or at Cannes, as well as being a Commander of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
Since the mid-2000s, Kusturica's primary residence is Drvengrad (or Kustendorf, name chosen by Kusturika himself), a village in the Mokra Gora region he had originally built for the purposes of his film Life Is a Miracle.

Since 1980, Emir Kusturica has created and always plays at The No Smoking band
