Jasmin Durakovic was born in Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is director, scriptwriter, journalist and producer.
He has directed numerous documentaries, short and TV films. "Nafaka" (2006) and "Sevdah for Karim" (2009) are his two long feature films.
Jasmin Durakovic was the General Manager of the public broadcasting service RTVFBiH from 2001 to 2008, where he also worked as a co-producer and participated in creation of the new Bosnian cinematography.
He is a member of Association of Filmmakers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
