Rüya Arzu Köksal was born in Turkey in 1972. Her documentary, New Life in Old Foça (2007) was awarded by the EU-UNDP Sustainable Development Project. The Shore (2008), was widely acclaimed abroad and at home and won several awards. Her film An Argonaut in Ordu screened at !f 2010 and won the Special Jury Award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
