Sasa Matijevic was born in Novi Sad, Serbia (Yugoslavia), in 1967.  He studied architecture in Belgrade, followed by camera studies at the Media Academy in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Since 2000, he worked as a cameraman for several TV broadcasters in Holland, filmed and produced series of documentaries, newsbroadcasts and reports from Europe, America, north Africa and Asia.
In 2006. in Amsterdam he founded film&tv production group MS Visuals. In 2011 he directed his first feature film, "Hij" ("He").
