Silvia Vladimirova was born in 1980 in Blagoevgrad, where she graduated from the National Humanitarian High School – profile Painting. She continued her education in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in the Animation Directing program in the class of Donyo Donev. Her first student film Is it so? took part in the Golden Rhython film festival in Plovdiv and the International Salon of Comics and Animation in Constanta, Romania.
In 2001 Sylvia took a specialized course in puppet animation at Boyana Film Studio in Sofia. She worked as animator at the mobile phone company M-tel and since 2003 she is at Miramar Film where she also specialized in costume design and styling. Sylvia was animator and costume designer for tens of commercials produced by Miramar Film. She was costume designer in the TV short She, the Sinner (2005), the documentary Skobelev – the White General (2008); animator and painter of Svilen Dimitrov’s film The Air Ace (2007).
