Lilia Maraviglia was born in 1969 in Varna. She graduated in Acting from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1993 in the class of Krikor Azarian and Todor Kolev. Lilia Maraviglia acts in several of Sofias top theatres. Since 1996 she is part of the Theatre Sofia troupe. Among her most notable performances are Julie dHolbach in The Libertine by E.E. Schmitt, Madame de Tourvel in Dangerous Liaisons, Lulu in Lulu or Pandoras Box by Frank Wedekind, Irina in Three Sisters by Chekhov, Lora in Between Worlds by E.E. Schmitt, Leonie in Les Parents Terribles by Jean Cocteau, Albena in Albena by Yordan Yovkov, Jackie in They Shoot Horses, Dont They? by Horace McCoy, Adelma in Princess Turandot by Carlo Gozzi and many others. She was nominated for Asker for the parts of Julie dHolbach in The Libertine, The Nurse in Romeo and Juliette and Leonie in Les Parents Terribles; nominated for Ikar award for Leonie. Lilia Maraviglia acts also in Bulgarian and foreign films Indian Games (1990, dir. Ivan Andonov), Burn, Little Flame, Burn (1994, dir. Rumiana Petkova, TV sitcom Camera/Curtain (2002, dir.
