Koyna Ruseva graduated in Acting from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1993 in the class of Krikor Azarian and Todor Kolev. She has many theatre roles among which Adelaida in Idiot by Dostoevski, Elmire in Tartuffe by Moliere, Valerie in The Weir by Conor McPherson (Ikar award in 2005), Malama in Vampire by Anton Strashimirov, Nan & Lina in Three Days of Rain by Richard Greenberg, May in Fool for Love by Sam Shepard, Tamara in Nordost by Torsten Buchsteiner. She also played many Chekhov characters Arkadina in Seagull, Anna Petrovna in Platonov, Masha in Three Sisters. 

Koyna Ruseva is one of the most famous Bulgarian theatre and film actresses. Her first film part was in Ivan Andonovs film Indian Games in 1990. After that she acted in Bulgarian and foreign pictures La donna e mobile (1995, dir. Nidal Algafari), The Gain (2000, dir. Magardich Halvadjian), Blueberry Hill (2000, dir. Alexandar Morfov), Christmas is possible (2002, dir. Christian Nochev), sitcom Sea-salt (2005, dir. Magardich Halvadjian), My Wee Nothing (2007, dir. Docho Bodzhakov), Train (2008, Gideon Raff), Prima Primavera (2009, dir. Janos Edelenyi). Apart from LOVE.NET, the other upcoming film with Koyna Ruseva is Voice Over by Svetoslav Ovcharov.
