Andrej Kosak was born in 1965 in Ljubljana, Slovenia (Yugoslavia). He studied Film and TV directing at the Ljubljana Theatre and Film Academy. His first feature film, Outsider (1998), was the biggest box office hit in Slovenia in the 90ties, also released with the great success in the countries of former Yugoslavia, shown and awarded on more than 30 international film festivals and Slovenian candidate for the nomination for foreign language Academy Award (Oscar). In 2002 he directed his second feature film, Headnoise (2002). The State of Shock (2011) is his third feature film. |
