Bio
Djordje Kadijevic is a Serbian film director, writer, art historian and art critic. He was born in 1933 in Sibenik, Croatia (then Kingdom of Yugoslavia). He studied History of Art but become a film director in the late 1960s. His first film Praznik (The Feast, 1967) is considered as one of the best films of Yugoslav and Serbian cinema.  He had a significant career on TV, where he directed some of his best films. He is especially popular as the pioneering author of horror film in Serbia with his cult TV film Leptirica (She-Butterfly, 1973).
