Ilija Stanojevic-Cica was born in 1859 in Belgrade and died in 1930 in the same city.  He was one of the oldest Serbian actors and film directors. He was among the most popular comedians of his time.
His most famous film as a director was Karadjordje (1911). This is the oldest Serbian fiction film.
