Vuk Mitevski graduated from Bennington College, USA specializing in sculpture and set design. In 2003 he worked on Teona Mitevska"s feature film How I Killed a Saint as art director. The same year he was co-creator of the multimedia project Last March of Alerik, where he in particular worked on the the visualization of the project by combining a variety of mediums: animation, sculpture, painting and music. The aim was to try to create an overload of the immediate emotional experiences. In September 2003 he started Wake Up, Tito Is Dead, a dance theater piece he both directed and designed. As a sculptor Vuk has always been interested in the human form, which led him into the creation of theater pieces where he combined sculpture to the human form and thereby adding to the form the perspective of life. |
