Julij became interested in the world of music when working as a technician at the RGL Radio, Kanal A TV Channel and as a supervisory mixer at concerts and festivals such as Novi Rock and Druga Godba. Between 1996 and 1998 follow the years of intensive sound research in the legendary postproduction studio Tivoli, where he mostly worked on the postproduction of TV ads and films, and also on music albums by Autodafe (Le Voyage Imaginaire) and Demolition group (Neovangelij). He was the sound engineer for the animated movie The Socialisation of a Bull (1998, Zvonko Čoh, Milan Erič ). He founded his own enterprise for sound postproduction, named 100. From there on numerous TV and radio ads for home and foreign brands have gone through sound postproduction in his studio, some of which received awards. The sound image of a number of movies, theatre plays and other music makings has undergone Julij’s sound engineering. |
