He was born in the village of Kovacevac. Graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts - University of Arts in Belgrade in 2001.  He has  one of the most prestigious Serbian theater awards the Milos Zutic for his acting in The Petrified Prince. He also achieved great popularity  in the film We Are Not Angels 2 and Saint George Slaying the Dragon .
