He was born on November 22 1931 , in the village Tileagd of Bihor County . He graduated from Union Institute of Cinematography Technical Leningrad in 1956, becoming a sound engineer. He collaborated on the soundtrack to a large number of films including Reconstruction (1971), Wall (1975), three seals Mace (1977), The Prophet, gold and Transylvanians (1978), Nea Marin billionaire (1979), Bulletin Bucharest (1983), A light from the tenth floor (1984), Balance (1992), The Most Beloved of Earthlings (1993), An Unforgettable Summer (1994) and West (2002).
