Considered by his peers to be one of the most talented Croatian film music composers and most promising orchestral artists, Dalibor Grubacevic made his grand entrance into the world of cinema in 2006 with his score for Duh u mocvari, a feature by Branko Istvancic. The accompanying sountrack album was published by Croatia Records. His talent and works were recognized in 2010 with the Grand Prize for Best Film Music at the 19th Days of Croatian Film, for his score to Zajedno, directed by Nenad Puhovski. Dalibor Grubacevic is a permanent member of the Croatian Composers’ Association (HDS) and the Croatian Music Union (HGU). He bases his writing on the classical orchestrational styles, utilizing also sythetized electronic sounds and instruments. |
