Stefan Goranov was born in 1944 in Sofia where he got a degree in Effective Management. In 1994 and 1995 he specialized in electronic media production and audiovisual projects management at the Thompson Foundation, UK and the US Company Universal in Tampa, Florida, respectively. Since 1969 he has been Production Director at the Bulgarian National Television and Ekran TV Film Studio. In 2000 to 2003 he headed Bulgarian National Television’s production center and in 2003 he took the office of Executive Director of the Public television. Since 2000 to date he has been working as Location manager, Production Director and Executive Producer of a number of documentary and feature films.
