Bio
Partner and director of Cattleya since 1999, Giovanni Stabilini has a vast and varied background in the acquisition and distribution of audiovisual rights and in the production and financing of film and television productions.
Giovanni worked for Mediaset for a total of fifteen years in various companies within the group. He began in the advertising arm, Publitalia, first as Assistant to the CEO and then as Head of Special Projects, the division responsible for all non-spot advertising such as program sponsorships and sales promotions.
In 1988, he became Sales Manager for Mediaset"s (then Reteitalia"s) Rights Division. He created the department responsible for the international distribution of Mediaset"s library and initiated an important rights trading activity by acquiring the European rights of several of the U.S. studios" most valuable libraries.
In 1993, he assumed the role of Director of Program Acquisitions and in 1996 became that division"s Executive Vice President.
As CEO of Cattleya Giovanni is responsible for the company"s financial direction and all aspects of its management.
