Hana Jusic graduated in comparative literature and English language and literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2007 and she enrolled in the Postgraduate Doctor's Study of Literature, Culture, Performing Arts and Film in the same year. In 2006, she enrolled in the BA film and TV directing study at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb and later also in the MA study at the same college. So far, she has written and directed several short feature and documentary films which have been shown at student, but also at some prominent European festivals. In the last year, she has directed short films “Chill” (international premiere in competition at the prominent Oberhousen festival) and “Small Flies, Ticks and Bees”, for which she has received the Oktavijan award and the Jelena Rajkovic award. She has written the script for feature film “The Mysterious Boy”, directed by Drazen Zarkovic. |
